Details: Van life is when you live out of your van, bus, camper, etc.

Pros:

  • This is a great option if you have pets

  • Everything is in one place, you don’t need to pack each time you want to move

  • There’s a large community to rely on & get helpful tips + tricks from

  • Very nature-forward

  • Can find breathtaking places to park & enjoy the view

Cons:

  • Living out of your van requires maintenance & close attention

  • Trying out city life is much more difficult

  • Dependent on yourself & the 1 vehicle for all your needs


Travel Abroad

Details: Traveling Abroad is essentially when you backpack through different places in the world.

Pros:

  • You get to experience different parts of the world

  • This can be relatively cheap depending on where you stay, your means of traveling and so on

  • There’s a large community to rely on & get helpful tips + tricks from

  • Very culture-forward

  • You get the opportunity to meet travelers like you from all over the world

Cons:

  • This is not the best option if you have pets

  • You live out of luggage (backpack and/or suitcase)

  • Might be restricted by your job/company


Short-Term Furnished Rentals

Details: Short-Term Furnished Rentals is when you pack what you’ll use, and lease out different places for short-term stints.

Pros:

  • This is a pet-friendly option

  • This allows you to experience how it would feel settling down in each place you visit

  • You get to experience both roadtrip vibes and homestyle living

  • It opens up the door to easily experience everything from city life to countryside

Cons:

  • Overpacking can negatively impact your experience

  • Expenses can be hefty depending on the platforms you use

  • Requires planning your next trip around 30 days in advance
